Feel Pinky? Feel Embarrassed!

PINK SHIRT

Yesterday at dinner Sue told me that her coworker Sarah said man in pink dress shirt shows taste. I happen to have a pink dress shirt, and today is Thursday, so I wore it to work –to show my tasteJ. In the lobby I caught up the elevator right before it took off and squeezed in. Suddenly everybody including several ladies in that box started to chuckle, except for young Sanjay, one of my data analysts –I just realized his wife probably had told him a similar story because he was wearing a similar pink dress shirt. He was silent but bashful, and I felt embarrassed too. It took that long to get to my 16th floor. As soon as I walked out of the door -followed by Sanjay, I heard people in the elevator behind us laughing, and people around chuckling in the office. I sort of fled to my room and tried not to leave there unless I had to for the whole day.

Trick or Treat? Typhoon Damrey’s impact on my Sanya Condo

The Letter from Times Coast Developer

Couple of days after the Typhoon Damrey blew through Sanya and the majority area of Hainan Island end of last month, I called my source in Sanya asking about the damage situation and was told that other than a couple of advertisement billboards knocked off here and there and some other insignificant wind damages and down power cables, there was no flood nor fire and Sanya pretty much remained in a good shape. So I was relieved –until yesterday when I received a letter from my developer as shown in the picture.
